    Growing Business Awards 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year', Oliver Bishop launched STEAK in 2005 with co-founder Duncan Parry. He has since grown the Group to become an award-winning, international digital agency, spanning three continents. More recently he has seen STEAK become part of the Dentsu Network - the fifth largest marketing communications company in the world, with over 100 offices in 27 countries.

    As part of the initial team at Espotting Media, Oliver played a pivotal role in launching the business in eleven European countries and was involved in their merger with US search company FindWhat. Oliver was also personally responsible for winning significant amounts of revenue from a wide range of clients, many of them blue chip.

    Voted by industry magazine Media Week as one of the "Magnificent Thirty" (2004's thirty media professionals to watch under the age of thirty), and featuring in the Revolution "One to Watch", Oliver has received several accolades recognising his entrepreneurial achievements.     Co-Founder Duncan began his career in search in 1999 at Lycos, during the early days of the search industry. In 2002 he joined PPC engine Espotting and quickly rose to the position of Agency Editorial Manager, working on campaigns for some of Europe's leading brands.

    He left Espotting in 2004 to work as a Search Consultant, during which time his clients included publisher VNU's portfolio of UK IT, finance and recruitment websites.

    In 2005 he reunited with ex-Espotting colleagues Julian Walker and Oliver Bishop to found STEAK, and has held a number of roles as the Group has grown including Head of Insight and Head of PPC. Today as COO, his role encompasses training, technology, insight and thought leadership.

    He's previously been a finalist in the Start Up awards 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year', was selected as one of the top 50 rising stars in science and innovation in the Courvoisier 'The Future 500', and has been in the top five of Media Week's '30 under 30'.

    Phil has over 15 years of client servicing experience, having begun his career in financial advertising before moving to direct marketing agency Evans Hunt Scott to work with clients such as Royal & Sun Alliance, Comet and Airtours.

    Moving into digital in 2000, Phil joined full service agency Profero where he developed long term relationships with the Central Office of Information, delivering innovative and award winning marketing. After a stint running integrated campaigns for RBS/NatWest at Modem Media, he joined Dare where he again worked with the COI, building the new Talk to Frank website, as well as managing relationships with the AA.

    After 2 years with Six&Co managing the digital activity for P&G hair and beauty brands Phil decided to get back into a full service environment and joined STEAK, where he is now Client Services Director, responsible for overseeing the smooth running of all client relationships.

    Annie joined STEAK in July 2011 and has overall responsibility for all financial matters, overseeing financial reporting systems and controls and fostering a strong commercial focus throughout the entire Steak Group including the UK, US and Australia offices as well as sister company Minute Steak.

    Annie has worked  as a finance professional in Market Research and IT recruitment before starting in Media in April 2000. She spent 6 1/2 years within the Publicis Groupe working for Starcom Mediavest as Group Financial Controller & then ZenithOptimedia as their UK Finance Director before joining Arena Media, part of the Havas Groupe,  as Finance Director in 2007 where she was responsible for financial management and reporting across its collective of offline and digital media specialist agencies.

    During an eleven year career in the sector, she has gained media-specialist experience of financial business management including delivering strategic financial reporting and forecasting, and running back-office operations.

    Gareth began his career in SEO at ChoiceQuote Insurance based in Liverpool. Responsible for the full marketing function for insurance products in motorcycle, taxi, van and haulage, he oversaw sizeable increases in ROI from online marketing spend.

    After spending 3 years at The Search Works, Gareth moved to STEAK in December 2009 to head up the SEO team. In this role his accomplishments include adding clients such as Currys and PC World, Compare The Market, Expedia and Screwfix to an already impressive list as well as building a team that consistently delivers top rankings for the most competitive keywords in the industry. In addition, he writes a monthly column on industry website Searchenginewatch.com and has a passion for wakeboarding.

    As well as being responsible for the SEO offering at STEAK, Gareth also sits on IAB and IPA Search Councils and has spoken at IAB, IMRG, SAScon and Econsultancy conferences.

    Scott has been in the industry for over 6 years, working on some impressive clients including The Sun, The News of the World, The Times, Nestle and Scottish Water. He began his career as a Web Developer for eCom Scotland, and after a brief period of freelancing, Scott re-joined eCom Scotland as a Project Analyst. In February 2009, Scott worked as a Senior Web Developer for the Government Agency , SEPA ( Scottish Environment Protection Agency) before joining digital communications specialists Skyron.

    At STEAK, Scott is responsible for leading the creative team and delivering STEAK's technical solutions, and has contributed to some fantastic work for likes of swiftcover.com, Hip Hotels, Expedia, Allianz, Netjets, Park Inn and John Lewis Insurance.

    Douglas joined STEAK in June 2011 from leading Affiliate Marketing Network, Affiliate Window. During his three years there, Douglas optimised a wide range of campaigns across all verticals and managed relationships with clients such as B & Q, Boohoo.com, Jack Wills, Co-op Electrical Shop and Tesco Bank.

    At STEAK he runs the affiliate team, planning and delivering successful affiliate marketing campaigns for clients including Swiftcover.com, My Favourite Magazines and John Lewis Insurance.

    As an Exeter University graduate, Adrian began his career in digital marketing and communications at Moodia Ltd., a specialist agency focused on online usability, web design and development, search and conversion rate optimisation. Adrian joined in 2005 and quickly helped build an impressive list of clients including ITN, Sunglass Hut, Ray-Ban, PricewaterhouseCooper and easyGroup. Moodia was one of the first agencies in London to start offering Facebook marketing (following the launch of Facebook Platform) in 2007. Adrian took on the role of Managing Director in Jan 2009 - featuring in 'Who's Who of Britain's Business Elite - Young Business Leaders 2009' - and led the sale of Moodia to Zone Ltd. later in the same year.

    Following a career break and a stint of freelance consultancy work, Adrian refocused on the burgeoning world of social media marketing, joining Zone Ltd. as their newly appointed Head of Social Media in April 2010. Whilst at Zone he worked on social media strategies and successful initiatives for a range of blue chip clients including Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, Channel 4 and BT.

    Adrian joined STEAK as Head of Social Media in July 2011 and now leads a promising team, working with Adecco, Crew Clothing, Virgin Holidays, Swiftcover and Allianz.

    After graduating from the University College London, John began his career at STEAK in 2008 as a PPC Account Executive. Since joining, he has worked on a number of clients including John Lewis, British Gas and Swiftcover. John has developed specialist skills and knowledge in the travel sector, successfully managing the Virgin Holidays Group PPC team through what were very tough and unpredictable times for the travel industry from 2009-2011.

    In late 2011, John took over as PPC Director where he continues to offer a high level of service to all clients, as well testing and trialling new innovations and strategies.

    Daniel spent the early years of his career at MIVA (formerly Espotting), the company that pioneered search engine marketing in Europe. After four years there he moved to Touch Local, the UK's largest online-only business directory. In his role there as Agency Account Manager he built senior level relationships with digital agencies and was responsible for lead generation as well as closing of business.

    Dan joined STEAK in late 2007 and initially held a business development role before moving into the client services team to lend his account management expertise to planning and managing the digital strategies for clients including British Gas Business, Dixons Retail, NetJets and Allianz.

    A graduate from Nottingham University, Mike began working in the editorial department at MIVA (formerly Espotting), where he developed a granular understanding of paid search. In 2006 he joined STEAK as an Account Executive, working with clients such as LXDirect, William Hill and Hero Insurance.

    Mike has proven adept at handling a wide range of different clients with complex campaigns and requirements. In his current role as Account Director Mike focuses on delivering high-quality digital marketing for Virgin Holidays, Compare The Market and Moo.com. He brings robust analytical skills and a strong grasp of technology which he uses to build an understanding of how his clients' customers interact with brands online, and how best to engage with them across multiple digital touchpoints.

    A graduate of Queen Mary, University of London with a BA (hons) Degree in English, Betina joined STEAK in February 2008 as a graduate executive within the Display team where she worked across multiple accounts, including Swiftcover, British Gas, vinspired, Enjoy England, Rezidor Hotels and moo.com and was trained in all aspects of online planning and buying.

    Now an Account Director in 2011, her current role involves managing several multi-discipline accounts including Allianz and Netjets across display, creative, paid and natural search, affiliates and social media.

    After graduating from Brunel University with a 1st class honours degree in MultiMedia Communications, Rob started his career in Public Relations, working on blue chip FMCG & Tech brands including Del Monte, Energizer, McVitie's, AVG Anti-virus and Wilkinson Sword.

    In 2007, he relocated to Copenhagen to work for a digital marketing agency specialising in the financial services sector. Working on clients including IHI Bupa, Spread Co and Marex, Rob's understanding of digital marketing channels and financial products enabled him to develop campaign strategies that extended digital reach and increased sales volume while reducing acquisition cost.

    Rob has also provided consultation to digital media owners in developing countries on behalf of the NGO, IMS. Focusing on usability, SEO and revenue generation, many are now cash positive, ensuring their survival and ability to report independent news.

    In 2011, Rob joined STEAK. His international multi-channel experience, financial services background and analytical skills further enhance Steak's ability to deliver successful integrated ROI focused campaigns for its' clients.
