The Brief.

Greenbee is part of the renowned John Lewis partnership and launched as a new brand in 2006. Greenbee primarily offers home, car, travel, wedding, pet and life insurance but is currently branching out into holiday and ticket bookings as well as telephone and broadband services.

Greenbee identified online as the primary channel for achieving their business objectives and appointed Steak, which was already working with parent company John Lewis, in February 2008. Steak was initially tasked with driving higher levels of website traffic, brand awareness and online sales via paid search. Ambitious order volume and cost per acquisition targets were set at the outset of the campaign and set a benchmark for success.
